A new born and or baby shoot is a very special shoot. Not only for the parents but for the photographers as well. The little ones grow up so quickly and these shoots are a way of freezing a moment in time. The focus is very much on the babies. Posed in very cute and peaceful moments capturing the very essence of who they are at that point in time. We are very flexible about the location that the shoot can take place which is either in the comfort of your own home or any special location for you. We have fabulous locations to choose from.

New born babies are the most precious gifts on the earth. You love to stare them for ages. At home: Choose a room that has very good natural lighting. Make the environment as comfortable as possible for the little ones. Ensure it is a nice and warm in the room on chilly days. Sometimes the little ones do get a bit nigly so to ease this a bit, play soothing music in the background. Should the music not keep the tranquillity a hair dryer works wonders. We welcome mommy & daddy in the room to watch what we do. This is not only great for the couple to watch and interact with the photographers but to be there with their baby should they need some warmth from mum or dad.

We have a couple of props that we use such as boxes, baskets and blankets. GAP welcomes any additional props that you would like to use such as head bands, hats, toys and different outfits. We love interactive natural shots, so we always encourage the parents to also dress nicely as you will also be part of the shoot.
